On the 2nd of march 2010 our librarian Koka Edith took the senior girls up to the marae to cut some flax. While we were walking up Papa Kupu picked up Hiwirori,Antonio and Georgette. When we got there Stacey done a karakia to bless us so we wouldn't get hurt while we were cutting the flax. We ended up with 100 pieces of flax.We left the flax laying on the grass. Then we started walking back to school. Papa Kupu and the senior boys arrived back at school with alot of bamboo stick. We ran over by Papa Kupus truck to go and help them unload the bamboo. After unloading all those bamboo Papa Kupu took Ashleigh, Jordyn, Stacey, Andrea and I back to the marae at the back of Papa Kupus scary trailer. We carefully put the flax on the trailer then we had a bumpy as the ride. We carried the flax in the libary. Once we were finished unloading we started plating. While we were plating them the boys kept on coming in and asking us if we were done. It was so annoying anyway at the end of the week we had finished our back wall and half of the side wall.
